If I can convey one message to you:
Healthy is Beautiful. Beautiful is not a size, not an age, and not a procedure. Healthy is beautiful."

“Beautiful” is celebrating the characteristics and qualities of your body, while nourishing and exercising
it to be as uniquely healthy and fit as only you can be. We are all created differently and I want you to stop trying to fit into a mold that someone else has defined as "beautiful". No one size will ever be accepted by everyone and it's important to accept that we are all different. I want you to be the best that you can be.

A week of Travel

       I'm on my way to Fort Worth for some interviews tomorrow, a photo shoot on Saturday and an event for The Ovarian Cancer Society Sunday. It seems like a weird city to work in, but I hear that it's beautiful and I look forward to seeing it. Hopefully everything goes well and I can work there more because I have lots of friends in Texas. Traveling all over can get lonely when I don't know anybody.
        I'm still trying to figure out doggie day care for Baxter. I'll be out of town for 24 days!!! I don't kennel my dog, so finding a place for him for that amount of time is quite tricky. Hopefully I can get everything situated on Monday because it's the only day that I will be in LA.
       I'm thrilled to go to NYC for Fashion Week, even though I will only attend shows that include plus models...which is only one show. But that's better than every year before! New York not using plus girls is so ridiculous. I mean, we get paid just as much if not more than other models and NYFW had been snubbing us forever. Even Milan uses plus girls! This is a great start, though!
        I think that I made the right decision to boycott fashion week until they use girls over size four. Designers would throw me in the front row and dress me in their clothes so that they could get press, but they wouldn't put a girl m size on the runway and I finally got fed up enough to put my foot down.
       I'm really excited to support plus girls in Fashion week. It's being run by OneStopPlus.com and I'm not really familiar with them but I wish them the best and I will give you all the juicy details!
      Also, I will be at the Fuller Woman Expo in Detroit on September 19th and I think that it will be really fun. You can read more about those details at www.TheFullerWomanExpo.com!

    You're totally right about designers dressing one or two girls in fitted clothes (as opposed to samples) just to make their design house look 'tolerant' of healthy women. I absolutely support your boycott of NYFW and will do my personal best to ignore photos from the shows.
